Seed Bar Slice

Seed Bar Slice with Cinnamon HoneySeed Bar with Honey Lady Cinnamon Honey

Ingredients:

  • 4 Cups of Seed Bar Mix
    Use a mix of seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower) with some shredded coconut, oats and puffed quinoa up to 4 cups in total.
  • 160g Honey Lady Cinnamon Honey
  • 125g Butter (or butter substitute)

Option 1 – untoasted:

  1. Pour Seed Bar Mix in a bowl.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  3. Add honey and gently heat and stir until butter and honey are melted.
  4. Mix Seed Bar Mix with butter and honey mixture until well combined.
  5. Pour into a lined 27x18cm sized tin, smooth with the back of a spoon and refrigerate.
  6. When set (it won’t set too hard) take out of the fridge and cut into squares.  Seed bar should then be stored in the fridge.

Option 2 – toasted (my favourite):

  1. Pour Seed Bar Mix onto an oven tray (or just toss in a wok until toasty) and toast for approx. 6 minutes at 160, mix and retoast for another 6 minutes until lightly toasted.
  2. Melt butter and honey in a saucepan and lightly simmer for a couple of minutes.
  3. Mix Seed Bar Mix with butter and honey mixture until well combined.
  4. Pour into a lined 27x18cm sized tin, smooth with the back of a spoon and refrigerate.
  5. When set take out of the fridge and cut into squares.  Seed bar should then be stored in the fridge.
